SharePoint  Create the first Enterprise Site Collection

In the last post, we created the first web application. In this post, we will create the first Site Collection.

Started Sharepoint site at http://spent:22932/applications.aspx

Go to Site collections and select Create site collection:

Note: Will use new web application created in the previous document.

Created a site collection using the following information:

Select OK to build the Site Collection.

The Site Collection has been built.

In the next post, we will learn how to add services.
